My biggest offer in my program is to integrate value systems of trust, honesty, integrity, respect and accountability into who we are – beyond what simply sounds equitable. These are ubiquitous value systems that transcend gender identification, racial, cultural and faith based beliefs. It is crucial to recognise and celebrate Self while becoming genuinely committed to the adoption of Diversity and Inclusion mindsets. Our personal lived experiences inform who we think we are – our learnt responses towards others, our learnt fears and insecurities and learnt protection mechanisms. All of our biases and unconscious responses are formulated through our experiences. The power of my process addresses at a fundamental level why we resist genuine and authentic moves towards accepting diversity. Real change happens when we change the way we think. Our lived experiences need to be part of the conversation on diversity and inclusion if we intend to effect any meaningful and sustained transformation. Is inclusion simply about accommodating differences, or accepting alternatives? No. Integrating our personal perspectives through safely exploring what informs our own unconscious attitudes is what creates genuine transformation. I offer a safe non judgmental, non accusatory space in which to identify cognitive dissonance and dualities, producing a heightened sense of Self awareness, resulting in Self regulated congruence between thought and action.
